Road Ready Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our Platform that enables Students to book driving lessons with RSA-qualified Driving Partners. By using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Definitions

"PLATFORM": Refers to the web application of Road Ready that facilitates the connection between Students and Partners for the booking, payment, management, and communication of driving lessons.
"SERVICES": Refers to all features, functionalities, tools and resources provided through the Platform.
"STUDENTS": Any individual holding a valid learner's permit who uses the Platform to book driving lessons.
"PARTNERS": Any RSA-licensed Driving Instructors who offer driving lessons through the Platform.
"PARTY": Refers to any of the following, individually. "Road Ready" the Platform provider. "Students" the individuals who register for, access, or use the Platform for booking lessons with Partners. "Partners" the RSA-licensed Driving Instructors offering driving lessons through the Platform.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional Terms that may apply. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

Student Eligibility

To use our Platform as a Student, you must:

Be at least 17 years old.
Hold a valid learner's permit in the country where you are booking your driving lesson.
Provide accurate and current personal information during the registration process.

Partner Eligibility

To use our Platform as a Partner, you must:

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a valid and up-to-date Irish ADI license.
Have a legally roadworthy vehicle suitable for offering driving lessons, along with appropriate insurance coverage.
Provide accurate and current personal information during the registration process.

Student Bookings

Students with a valid learner's permit can book driving lessons with an RSA-registered Partner listed on Road Ready.
All bookings are subject to the availability of your chosen Partner and are not confirmed until the Partner accepts the booking request.
Once a booking is confirmed, both the student and the Partner will receive a confirmation email with lesson details.
Bookings can be modified up to 48 hours before the lesson is scheduled.
To change a Partner at any point during your driving lesson experience, please contact support by emailing info@getmeroadready.ie or via the WhatsApp channel: +353 (87) 484 3383.

Payments

Road Ready uses Stripe as its payment processor. By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Prices for lessons are determined individually by the Partners and displayed on the Platform when searching for a Partner or lesson. Road Ready may charge a service fee and Stripe processing fee, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.
Payments made by Students are held as awaiting capture until the Partner confirms the lesson.
Once the Partner confirms the lesson, the Student payment is processed and released from their bank account.
Students will receive a booking confirmation email, which includes payment information and a Stripe payment receipt.

Cancellations and Refunds

Student Cancellations: Students may cancel a lesson up to 48 hours before the scheduled lesson and rebook another lesson with the same Partner. Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson may result in a partial or full charge, at the discretion of the Partner.
Partner Cancellations: If a Partner cancels a lesson, the Student will be offered an alternative lesson at a future date.
Refunds will be processed through Stripe and may take 5-10 business days to reflect in the Student's bank account.

Partner Responsibilities

Partners must hold valid licenses and qualifications as required by the applicable Law in Ireland.
Road Ready is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of Partner qualifications and reserves the right to remove any Partner from the Platform if they breach these Terms.
Partners must act professionally and in accordance with applicable Irish law at all times.
Partners are not bound by exclusivity and may provide services through other Platforms or independently.

Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for attending lessons at the scheduled time and location.
Students must have their learner's permit available during each lesson.
After each lesson, Students will be invited to leave a review. While optional, completing this review will improve both the Student and Partner experience.

Independent Partners and Responsibilities

Partners of Road Ready act as independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Road Ready. Each Partner is solely responsible for their own actions, conduct, and obligations, including but not limited to damages, claims, taxes, vehicle maintenance, travel costs, or penalties arising in connection with the services they provide. Road Ready is not liable for any such obligations or liabilities incurred by its Partners.

Dispute Resolution

Road Ready encourages students and Partners to resolve disputes directly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, please contact us via info@getmeroadready.ie or WhatsApp at +353 (87) 484 3383, and we will assist in facilitating a resolution where possible.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either Party. Either Party may terminate these Terms by providing written notice at least 10 days in advance. Termination will not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to the effective date of termination.
Partners: Termination is conditional upon the fulfillment of any existing obligations toward Students, including the completion of scheduled lessons, provision of course materials, and delivery of any agreed-upon feedback. Failure to fulfill such obligations may delay termination.
We reserve the right to terminate the relationship immediately, at our sole discretion, in the event of any actual or suspected breach of these Terms. Such termination may occur without prior notice or liability for any resulting loss or damages.

Limitation of Liability

Road Ready is an intermediary platform that facilitates bookings between Students and Partners. We are not responsible for the actions or conduct of Students or Partners during lessons.
To the extent permitted by applicable Irish Law, Road Ready disclaims any liability for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the Platform or services provided by Partners.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Road Ready, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses (including legal fees), and liabilities arising from or in connection with:

Any breach of these Terms.
Any failure to fulfill your obligations.
Claims related to the Services you provide.
Any violation of applicable Irish Law or Regulations.

This indemnity obligation will survive the termination or expiration of these Terms.

Non-Exclusivity and Advertising Rights

Partners are not bound by exclusivity and are free to engage in business activities with other parties, including advertising and promoting services through other platforms or channels. Road Ready acknowledges that its Partners may offer similar Services through other providers or independently, and such activities shall not be considered a breach of these Terms.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

Modification of Terms

Road Ready reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of the Platform after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable Laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
